Live retail / mall space with footfall and operating hours constraints.
Why mall-scale public art is harder than gallery installation
Installing 30+ public artworks inside an operating shopping mall is a different problem from a gallery: load-in windows are short, structural anchoring has to satisfy mall engineering, footfall protection and hoarding plans have to be approved, and final finishing has to be venue-clean rather than studio-clean.
ACT Creative managed the work from production-end (fabrication coordination across the China supply chain network including Foshan and Guangzhou for FRP and structural elements) through to install-end (rigging, anchoring, lighting calibration and final colour-matching against artist reference samples).
Why mall and retail venues choose ACT Creative
- Multi-piece coordination — keeping 30+ works on parallel production timelines without compromising any single piece
- Venue-aware install — aligning to mall operating hours, structural rules and hoarding plans
- Precision finishing — colour-matching and surface integrity that reads correctly in mall LED lighting, not studio light
- Cross-border logistics — China factory hubs into the venue with QC and packing accountability all the way to the loading dock
