Case study ยท custom merchandise sourcing
For INVade's roving Weekend Brew Club, ACT Creative managed the custom mug supply chain as one accountable partner: China factory sourcing, requirement and artwork coordination, production follow-up, international freight, timeline control and local delivery in Singapore.
Weekend Brew Club is INVade's roving lifestyle activation built around cafe culture, retro nostalgia and communal energy. Ticket holders exchange their ticket for an exclusive mug, then use it through a coffee buffet featuring Nanyang and Western-style brews.
Each edition moves into a different neighbourhood and adds local identity to the recurring Weekend Brew Club experience.
The custom mug is not passive decor. It is used during the coffee buffet and becomes a take-home reminder of the edition.
The product construction stays consistent while artwork changes across neighbourhood partners, dates and delivery windows.
Activity format and edition locations were checked against the official Weekend Brew Club website, its official edition ticket hub and the individual Toa Payoh edition page. The Tampines West event listing identifies INVade as the organiser.
Guests collected the enamel mug for the coffee buffet, carried it between the brew stations and took it home after the event. These official event photographs show why production consistency, comfortable handling and event-ready delivery mattered beyond the factory stage.

The operating idea was straightforward: the client should not have to separately manage factory discovery, production communication, international shipping, schedule pressure and last-mile delivery. ACT Creative held those moving parts together and provided one local point of accountability.
We searched for a factory able to produce the required mug format, finish and customization reliably for repeated editions.
Artwork, positioning, edition marks and production requirements were coordinated directly with the supplier side.
Factory follow-up, shipment timing and Singapore handover were judged against the activation schedule, not as separate tasks.

Product references and event requirements were turned into a clear factory brief, including the repeatable construction and the details that change by edition.

Location names, partner marks, colours and social handles were coordinated within the shared Weekend Brew Club visual system.

We coordinated directly with the China factory through production so the client did not need to manage language, specification or supplier follow-up separately.

Bulk goods were checked through production and packing visibility so the project remained traceable before leaving the factory side.

International shipment and timing were managed as part of the same project plan, reducing the gap between factory completion and event readiness.

ACT Creative also coordinated local transport, so the handover point was finished goods in Singapore for the client to receive and inspect.
