Custom inflatables / Singapore & SEA

Custom flying inflatables for memorable event moments

Turn the air above an audience into a moving visual stage with custom flying whales, globes, mascots, logos and campaign-specific forms.

ACT Creative coordinates the brief, shape development, production, testing, logistics and on-site technical plan for event teams that need more than a standard inflatable.

Designed around the venue, operating zone, visual brief and show sequence.

Aerial forms built to be seen from across the venue

Each concept has different requirements for volume, buoyancy, propulsion, turning radius and visual finish. These examples show how the system can adapt to different event stories.

Flying whale

Landmark movement for atriums and immersive shows

A large aquatic form creates a calm but monumental overhead visual without relying on heavy scenic structures.

Custom creature

Flying golden fish

A character-led form for fantasy scenes and themed environments.

Flying globe

Large cultural and gala reveals

A moving globe supports world, future and connection-led storytelling.

Brand form

Turn a logo into moving media

Convert a recognizable mark into a three-dimensional reveal above the audience.

How the project works

From a visual idea to a controlled show system

The inflatable itself is only one part of the delivery. A workable project also needs venue checks, movement planning, testing, logistics and a clear operating method.

01

Define the moment

Clarify the audience view, creative intent, target size, route and show timing.

02

Check the venue

Review clear height, operating zone, obstacles, access, loading and local requirements.

03

Build and test

Coordinate the shell, propulsion, controls, lighting and repeated movement tests.

04

Rehearse and operate

Plan transport, inflation, flight path, operator roles, contingency response and handover.

Technical planning

A lightweight visual with a serious operating system

Specifications vary by shape and venue. The figures below are useful starting references, not fixed promises. Final configuration follows the approved project brief and site review.

Sealed heliumMaintains lift without continuous blower noise.
15-20 minTypical reference flight time for reveal and performance sequences.
2 kmReference control range under suitable operating conditions.
1.8 m upwardScale begins with compact formats and grows around venue needs.
TPU / metallic filmDifferent materials support soft, printed or reflective expressions.
Optional LEDInternal lighting can strengthen visibility in stage and night settings.
Brushless motorsEfficient propulsion for controlled movement and repeated operation.
2-4 weeksTypical production reference, depending on complexity and revisions.
Operator supportTechnical personnel can support installation, rehearsal and show operation.
Remote controller for flying inflatable operation

Responsive control

Directional control supports rehearsed flight paths and live correction.

Flying inflatable technical equipment and support kit

Operational support kit

Charging, batteries and support equipment must be planned around rehearsal and show schedules.

Reflective metallic flying inflatable finish

Reflective finishes

Metallic surfaces create a stronger presence for gala and stage environments.

Before requesting a quote

What determines whether the idea will work

Early venue and operating information reduces redesign, helps select the right scale and makes the quotation more reliable.

Venue

Clear operating space

  • Venue plan and clear ceiling height
  • Obstacles, rigging, air-conditioning and audience zones
  • Loading access and inflation location
Creative brief

Shape and visual target

  • Reference images or original artwork
  • Target dimensions, colours and branding
  • Expected viewing angles and lighting conditions
Operation

Show sequence and support

  • Event date, rehearsal time and operating duration
  • Preferred movement or choreography
  • Operator, contingency and local compliance needs

Frequently asked

Practical questions before production starts

Can flying inflatables be used outdoors?

Controlled flying systems are primarily recommended for indoor venues. Outdoor concepts require a separate assessment of wind, weather, operating boundaries, aviation considerations and contingency procedures.

Can you create a custom mascot or logo?

Yes. The shape, colour, branding, lighting and movement can be developed from reference artwork, subject to feasibility and venue constraints.

Do we need a technical operator?

For first-time teams and complex shows, professional installation, rehearsal and operating support is strongly recommended. The level of support depends on the system and show plan.

What should we send for a quotation?

Send the venue, clear height, reference design, target size, event date, operating time, delivery location and whether installation or technical support is needed.

Planning a flying centerpiece for your next event?

Send the venue plan, reference image, target date and preferred size. We will help evaluate the concept and turn it into a workable production brief.
